IT Support/ Business Analyst 

Overview:

  • The IT Support Analyst’s role is to provide a point of contact for the diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of Systems issues for the Marketing department, and the analysis and design of enterprise applications that serve the Marketing function. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING USERS ON SALESFORCE OR OTHER SIMILAR/COMPETITOR CRM
  • The IT Support Business Analyst role will include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, implementing and supporting systems that support the Marketing department. It also includes administrative tasks such as writing technical specifications and maintaining documentation. This position will be called on frequently to perform complex functions and analyses, and is expected to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity at all times.

Dimensions:

  • This position will work extensively on applications for the Marketing function at the our World Headquarters, supporting the global Sales and Marketing teams for the Original Equipment and Aftermarket businesses. Resource assistance will be provided to other Information Services areas as required, including the areas of the Business Solutions, Application Service Delivery, Infrastructure Service Delivery, and Business Support teams.

Principle Accountability:

Experience with Salesforce or with competing products (Dynamics CRM, Marketo, etc.)

  • Perform analysis and diagnoses of problems in I.S. systems that support the Sales & Marketing function. Provide resolution, recommend corrective actions and coordinate resolutions using 3rd party providers.
  • Perform analysis and diagnoses of business problems in the Marketing department, gather and analyze requirements, design, select, test, and implement enterprise applications and systems that meet requirements.
  • Create processes that leverage Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Automation systems to support the marketing function.
  • Engage with third party service providers to deliver I.S. systems that support the quality function, including off-shore development teams and professional service providers.
  • Maintain technical specifications, test plans, and diagrams for Marketing systems 
  • Provide analytical support, perform research and development functions, and develop and maintain associated documentation.
  • Recommend technology tools and applications for use on-site and company wide.
  • Collaborative with peers on continuous improvement objectives.
  • Provide technical roadmap input assistance on selected systems.
  • Fulfills departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, education, systems outages, disaster recovery situations and other emergency situations.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience within a medium to large size company performing Business Analysis for projects that support at least 20 users.
  • Must have intermediate understanding of marketing technologies, such as mobile apps, device management, and marketing tools. 
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must have excellent data analysis and workflow skills
  • A B.A./B.S. in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Diplomas or certifications in the Information Technology field would be highly preferred.
