Basic Function:

  • Provide IT Services support, guidance and vendor management for Fargo plant in support of CE and AG manufacturing operations.
  • Representative Activities: Manage the delivery and support of effective I.S. products and services to users at the industrial site who use the system and application services.
  • Align with key business leaders to facilitate communications between I.S. and the business community.
  • Manage the processes for a team at an industrial location to ensure that all I.S. products and services meet or exceed committed service level agreements and customer expectations.
  • Manage the prioritization of local requests for I.S. products and services and ensure the delivery is executed in a reliable, responsive, cost effective and secure manner.
  • Lead the local IS Customer Services group and strive to reduce the overall costs and complexity at the location.
  • Fully support the decisions of the IS management team to ensure all I.S. products and services are effectively provided.

Position Dimensions:

  • Managing service providers to ensure timely and quality support of PC hardware/software, ensure network stability and functionality, monitor local server support and upgrades and generally ensure the overall stability of the technical infrastructure supporting the plant and other local business units.
  • Work with I.S. teams in continually reviewing and improving processes.
  • Typical Decisions Made: Review and approve IT service requests from plant staff, including project and purchasing requests.
  • Monitor and enforce Vendor SLAs and onsite vendor support.

  • Microsoft Office (excel, PowerPoint, access)
  • Basic understanding of Networks, servers, and Computer configuration.
  • Strong organizational skills.
