Job Description

  • As the Parts Catalog Analyst, you will be responsible for data integrity of parts records in the Global Parts System (GPS), determining serviceability of parts, and creating, maintaining and updating records. 


  • Generate and develop comprehensive and accurate parts catalog information that meets the needs of dealers and customers.
  • Ensure that the information provided meets the product development project timing within approved budgets. 
  • Research, evaluate and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints in order to break down assemblies that will go into the parts catalog input information in the configuration studio (CFS) as well as GPS parts system.
  • Develop parts catalogs to support product launches globally.
  • Effectively communicating service parts information for the maintenance and repair of the clients’ products.
  • Analyze & determine if a part should be released as a service part in accordance with the after sales guidelines and strategy. 
  • Provide Second level support to resolve parts technical/customer support and dealer incidents from the next generation parts catalog (NGPC), within agreed upon service level agreement. 
  • Proactively communicate with team lead regarding product launch team objectives, assuring assignments are aligned with product launch plans so part records & catalog requirements are fulfilled. 
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of parts catalogs to increase customer satisfaction and parts sales and to decrease warranty cost. 
  • Provide input regarding estimated hours and resources required for projects in order to create an accurate budget. 
  • Assist in identifying and improving areas requiring process improvement. 
  • Follow the prescribed cataloging standards and process and procedure. 


  • The qualified candidate will have experience with the following: 
  • Associates Degree in engineering or ag systems or technical certification (automotive, truck or AG / CE) or minimum 2 years automotive, AG, or CE equipment/dealership service writing and/or warranty, or related experience.
  • Minimum one-year technical customer support or catalogue/product manual experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide analysis to resolution.
  • Ability to work within a cross functional teams in worldwide / multiple locations. 
  • Minimum 25 WPM typing skills.
  • The preferred candidate will have experience with the following: 
  • Intermediate level of MS Office (Word/Excel) experience.
  • Advanced software user with demonstrated experience working within multiple systems in fast paced environment. 
  • 1+ year technical customer support of equipment dealer networks or after sales support, or 1+ year catalogue/product manual experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulics with agricultural, automotive or industrial machinery engineering drawings and/or engineering bill of materials.
