SharePoint Support Specialist – Job 72745

Job Overview:

  • The SharePoint Support Specialist is responsible for the support of the Organization’s SharePoint Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System Solutions, and this role focuses on:
    • ECM Solutions Development
    • ECM Solution Support
    • ECM Training
  • This position is responsible for addressing ECM support requests, and enhancements to ECM Solutions
  • The Support Specialist will collaborate with ECM Team and Business users, to understand processes and develop solutions, based on requirements
  • The Support Specialist will conduct user process training, to ensure current processes are being adopted and best practices are being used

Candidate Overview:

  • Candidates for this position should have knowledge of SharePoint functionality (Lists and Libraries) and tools (SharePoint Designer and Microsoft InfoPath)
  • Ideal candidates will be energetic, outgoing, and willing to learn new technologies, in a fast-paced environment

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provides support for resolution of ECM service desk requests
  • Provides operational support of team sites, libraries, lists, views, workflows, and permissions
  • Troubleshoots ECM solution issues, to root cause and/or develop fixes
  • Ability to recommend and develop solutions within ECM Systems, for improved business processes
  • Maintains existing ECM knowledge base including how-to guides, technical documentation, and requirements documentation
  • Participates in requirements gathering meetings
  • Delivers SharePoint solution process training
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Tools (SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath, HarePoint Workflow Extensions)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Customer-Focused

Education/Certifications:

  • Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
  • Preferred – MCSA Office 365 Certification
