Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking an Site IT Support Analyst III to work on a contract basis in the Harmarville, PA area. This contract engagement is currently scheduled for a duration of 12 months with the possibility for extension. The working environment for this role is a mix of office and R&D laboratory work spaces and hours are standard daylight office hours. Evening and weekend on-call support is required as planned.

• The general function of the Site IT Support Analyst is as follows:

• Support and break/fix of all users and business IT equipment within site

• Coordinating problem solving & project activities with Corporate IT infrastructure/applications teams

• Ensure IT system and data security within the facility.

• Ensure proper storage and backup of local company data

• Coordinate management and maintenance of computer work stations and support equipment

• Interact with internal users to understand their IT issues and provide competent, effective solutions, or work with Corporate IT to provide the solution.

• Ensure efficient operation of IT systems

• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with Process Engineers and Automation Engineers, seeking integrated, effective solutions to technical challenges

• Inform employees of technological changes taking place within the organization

• Provide local deskside support for users within the facility and solicit Corporate IT help where required

• Ensure licensing requirements are met and fulfilled

• Assist in development of annual local facility IT budget

On a daily basis, the Site IT Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Monitor and address tickets in work queue.

• Address any reported issues not entered into the ticketing system.

• Ensure the issue is recorded and tracked within the ticketing system.

• Collaborate with Service Desk to address or escalate any reported issue.

• Collaborate with the IT Applications development team to implement any systems within the site.

• Build & Deploy new workstations.

• Follow all security and safety policies and procedures

• Meet key performance metrics for the role including - Efficiency of ticket resolution, Completion of PC builds within Service Level, Other KPI's are defined by the organizations leadership

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - CRITICAL TO THE ROLE:

• Knowledge or working experience in the following area:

• PC and Laptop hardware and software imaging and trouble shooting

• PC and Laptop tools and utilities

• Thin Client technologies

• Local Area Network and Wireless network trouble shooting

• Printer hardware trouble shooting

• IT networks and voice services (e.g. wiring, hubs, switches, PBX, voice mail)

• IT technologies supporting a Manufacturing environment

• IT Integration technologies that integrate with process control equipment

• Great problem solving abilities

• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to document operations procedures

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle internal users effectively

• Good Project Management and organizational skills

• Ability to effectively work independently or in a team environment

• Ability to effectively interact with a diverse user base

• Ability to work with focus on safety and security

• Physical requirements of the role include ability to lift 25 pounds repetitively for an 8 hour shift, ability to stand for an 8 hours shift, etc.
