Job Description

The Senior HR Analyst position provides expertise, supports and maintains the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Provides insight and feedback to HR Operations. Communicates with internal HR and Payroll customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides support of HRIS systems including, but not limited to, performing thorough problem analysis, recreating, researching, testing and resolving issues; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements and result in resolution
  • This is a senior position and would like to be a more well-rounded candidate that has configured,

  • maybe went thru at least one implementation and also has some reporting experience. 

  • Integration experience and reports

  • experience with configuration and understanding the inner workings of Workday. 

  • Serves as the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas of these HR Systems and assist where and when possible to unassigned areas
  • Responsible for HR system configuration including modules updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, etc. as determined by business requirements
  • Supports upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned
  • Analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Supports the design, coordination, testing and delivery of HR Metrics, data summaries and other reporting solutions for use in business planning, analysis and forecasting
  • Creates dashboards and report templates for all levels of management
  • Experience in troubleshooting, validating and modifying HR System integrations to external vendors or other parties
  • Leads data quality and data audit process and practices including assisting subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity
  • Develops, reviews and updates system documentation including user procedures, guidelines and other documentation.
  • Trains new system users
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product, delivery, and support
  • Provides support and guidance for troubleshooting system issues to other members of the team

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service best practices
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures, employment laws and regulations, industry trends, standards, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of data interpretation and application

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with HR Systems analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with a major HRM Platform (Workday, SAP, ADP, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with problem solving and analytical skills, with an understanding of core HR business practices (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Shared Services)
  • Ability to develop solutions based on analysis of technology-related issues/opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience of time management skills, ability to work independently, detail oriented, and to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience of effective internal and external collaboration with all levels
  • Demonstrated experience researching information, problem solving, and making solid business decisions
  • Demonstrated experience reporting, analyzing, interpreting, and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated experience producing accurate and detailed work on multiple projects under time pressure
  • Demonstrated experience written and or communication with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office software products
