Job Description

  • Reporting to the Head of Non-IT Sourcing and Corporate Services Operations, this position will provide day-to-day support for Travel Management across the entire firm.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    •         Reports to Corporate Services Manager and assists with day-to-day management of our portfolio of vendors in Travel (Hotels, Airlines, Rail, and Ground Transportation),

    •         Develop strong relationships with internal business partners and third-party vendors

    •         Schedule and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews of service providers

    •         Create and analyze periodic and ad-hoc reports

    •         Work with internal business partners to identify opportunities to enhance services received

    •         Conduct monthly training sessions for new hires to educate them on the Travel program

    •         Create and distribute quarterly travel reports to senior managers across the Firm

    •         Co-Manage issuance and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from service providers

    •         Monitor and troubleshoot various issues that arise from stakeholders and vendors

    •         Identify new suppliers and innovative technologies for cost savings opportunities for the Firm

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

•         VP-level experience

•         Bachelor’s degree

•         Minimum 5 years of travel management related experience

•         Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

•         Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate with at all levels of management, as well as outside vendors and clients

•         Ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines

•         Process improvement skills

•         Good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

•         Ability to work within a team, as well as independently

•         Must be detailed oriented and able to manage competing priorities
